Annual Programs
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Each November, individuals and families have the opportunity to sign up for our Christmas program. The program includes a large box of food and when possible gift cards for families with children under the age of ten. Christmas program pick-ups take place the week prior to Christmas.
SCHENECTADY SHARES FOOD DRIVE
A year round effort to collect food and funds for the Schenectady County food pantries and food providers. The Luken Daily Bread Food Pantry Inc serves as the headquarters & program administrator for the county wide effort.
Community Day - Clothing Give Away Day
Each September, the community comes together and can choose from donated clothes and household items. A cookout lunch is provided by the pantry. Many community resource providers are present educate about their programs. Volunteers are always needed - please look for more information leading up to the event. Save the date for Sept. 12th 2025!
